Welcome to the 54th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Plant Physiologists.
It is our great pleasure to cordially invite you to The 54th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Plant Physiologists”, which will be held at Okayama University in Okayama City, Japan, from March 21st to 23rd, 2013.
The growing importance of plant science is widely recognized and further development is expected in order to address the problems related to environment, food, and energy. The annual meeting provides a fruitful forum for the presentation and discussion of frontier research in the plant science. We expect about one thousand papers to be presented at the symposia and oral/poster sessions.
Okayama is located between Osaka and Hiroshima and is about two hours from Kansai International Airport (http://www.okayama-japan.jp/en/). In downtown Okayama, there are a number of hotels and restaurants that serve traditional and local foods as well as Asian and Western cuisines. The meeting venue is located approximately 2 km north of Okayama station and is easily accessed by public transportation. We look forward to seeing you in Okayama!
