Registration and abstract submission will open on November 4.

Before registration and submission

  • Please be sure to read the “General Information” page before proceeding with registration and submission.
  • Presenters at the Annual Meeting must be JSPP members. If you are participating as a member, you need to pay the membership fee for FY2026. If you are attending (and presenting at) the Annual Meeting as a JSPP member, you must join JSPP starting from FY2026. Please refer to this page for membership details.
  • Members of The Taiwan Botanical Society (TSPB) and The American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB) are eligible to present a presentation at the Annual Meeting. JSPP offers discounted registration rates for members of TSPB and ASPB.
  • Once payment is completed, no changes can be made to the details of your application. In addition, no refunds can be made. Please check the details of your registration carefully before completing registration.
  • The Banquet will be held in the evening of Saturday, 14th March, at two venues: Meiji University (Surugadai Campus) and the University of Tokyo (Hongo Campus). As the capacity of each venue is limited, applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration will close once the limit is reached.
  • The payment receipt will be issued in March along with your nametag.
  • Abstract submission will close on November 28th (Japan Standard Time). No further submissions or revisions can be made after this date.
  • If you wish to apply for the PCP Poster Award, please make sure to select “Poster Presentation.” Eligibility for the PCP Poster Award is limited to “students enrolled in a doctoral program at the time of application.” Applicants for the PCP Poster Award must participate in the presentation on the first day of the meeting (March 13).
  • Only designated presenters are eligible to submit symposium and award lecture abstracts. If this does not apply to you, please select either an oral or a poster presentation.
  • If you plan to give an oral or poster presentation, please review the list of categories in advance. You will be asked to select your first and second preferences.

  • For oral presentations and symposia, please select the presentation type (on-site or online) during abstract submission screen. Poster presentations and award lectures are on-site only (online presentations are not available).
  • If you wish to register a presentation that follows another oral or poster presentation, please confirm the presentation number of the preceding presentation (e.g., E00000) in advance and enter it on the abstract submission screen. You may also add this information later, as long as it is before the submission deadline. Please ensure that both the presentation format (oral or poster) and the preferred presentation category are the same as those of the preceding presentation. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate all requests regarding presentation order.
